Qiu Technologies These Terms apply to the Qiu Technologies LLC corporate websites at qiutechnologies.com and qtech.website and their information and inquiry features. By using them, you agree to these Terms.
Q Chat has product-specific Terms of Service and a Privacy Policy. Those pages govern Q Chat’s app-specific use and data handling; this page covers our corporate website and business communications. Read both when using both services.
1. Q Chat product scope
Current scope: Q Chat: Connect, Help, Belong (com.q.qchat) version 2.0.0 is designed as a text-only open beta for people 16 years and older. It offers four fixed rooms for friends, communities, business, and local buy/sell conversations. This next beta is in development; public release and end-to-end validation are not yet confirmed. The existing Play listing covers earlier releases. Media uploads, private matching, posts, referrals, Q Coins, passes, subscriptions, and purchases are unavailable in this beta.
Messages are encrypted on your device before ciphertext enters a temporary Supabase relay. Q Chat and Supabase can access the server-readable room key, so the beta is not end-to-end encrypted. Outgoing plaintext is processed by temporary Supabase Edge rule checks before encryption, alongside on-device checks; received text is checked again on-device. These reduced checks can miss harmful content and are not specialist safety-provider approval.
Q Chat is strictly platonic. Its Published Standards apply alongside its Terms. Reports and blocks are free. Shared-room participation is not a guarantee of another person’s identity or conduct.
2. Business services and inquiries
Service descriptions are invitations to discuss a project, not a binding offer, delivery promise, or guarantee of results. A separate written agreement must establish project scope, price, schedule, intellectual-property ownership, confidentiality, support, and cancellation or refund terms. If you enter an agreement for an organization, you must have authority to do so. You must have legal capacity to enter any paid business contract, or a duly authorized representative must enter it.
The contact form opens an email draft in your email application. You must send it to submit an inquiry; no contract or payment is created by opening a draft.
3. Permitted use and intellectual property
You may use the websites for lawful information and inquiry purposes. Do not impersonate others, submit unlawful or infringing content, send spam, interfere with security or availability, or violate others’ rights. Our branding and website materials belong to us or our licensors. No ownership is transferred by viewing the site. Applicable statutory and open-source rights are unaffected.
You retain ownership of inquiry materials. You permit us to use them as needed to evaluate and respond to your request. Send only material you are authorized to share; project-specific rights must be agreed separately.
4. Purchases and refunds
The company website does not sell Q Coins or collect card details. Q Coins and purchases are unavailable in the hosted Q Chat beta. For an earlier app purchase, consult the purchase platform and our Refund Policy. Separate business-service fees and cancellation terms must be specified in your written agreement. Mandatory consumer and refund rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
5. Links and availability
External links, including Google Play and Q Chat, have their own terms and privacy notices. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability, third-party services, or that information remains current. We may correct or change site content and restrict abusive access.
6. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, website information is supplied “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of suitability or uninterrupted access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qiu Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from website use. This does not exclude any warranty, liability, remedy, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded, or alter a separately signed service agreement.
7. Law and updates
New Mexico, United States law governs these website Terms, subject to mandatory protections in your jurisdiction. Competent courts in New Mexico hear disputes unless applicable law gives you another right or forum. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and obtain renewed agreement where required. Stop using the website if you do not accept revised Terms.
